It is going to be a let down for you, but I will tell you what happened so maybe you will let it go.
We were all running down the river on the fun run. We came around a turn and there was a sub, 95% submerged. We were running about about a buck-forty, so as you can imagine we ran up on them pretty quick. Remember we were in a narrow river on a turn. As soon as we saw the escort boats we stopped, COMPLETELY. We were never between the sub and escorts, we were probably 200' from the escorts. They came over a little closer, gave us instructions from there PA system and sent us on our way. There was actually an express cruser that went between the sub and escorts while we were sitting there. There were also more boat just as close, however they didn't have the name of their boat on their side with 2 foot letters as Joe and I did. We actually have pics to prove our distance. We took quit a few since we don't run into alot of nuclear subs in Oklahom.I assume that is why we were singled out. As Gusman stated, when they came to the docks latter, they were very nice and professional. Now you know the rest the story. Pretty boring hugh.

Sounds like a pretty interesting incident (the sub that is) but I personally would like to commend you guys on the way you ran in the shoot-out last weekend...being one of the few nor-techs down at LOTO I took special interest in watching your runs....it was great seeing you post some big numbers and the boat looked like it was on rails...congrats to all, great show!!!

[QUOTE=42MTI;2254375]Your right some one else brought it up, BUT, you keep bringing it up. I assume you have some axe to grind with Joe being the reason, since no one else seems to care,] QUOTE]
I have 6 posts out of 44. Thats doesn't look like I keep bringing it up. I didn't start the chit about Joe, some others did. I just stated what I was told in Jax by people that should know. Their story differs from yours, but we all know that there are usually 3 sides to every story, but what ever.
Joe's boat did run great at LOTO, with some wicked fast speeds, so nice job by him!
