if the power goes out you'll be fine then......down here, no issues, just a little heat in the bilge and its all good, unless we loose power in a n ice storm......last one was 1980 or 81 I think

Great rebuild of a cool ride. If I could afford to put fuel in it I would be headed your way to buy that beast! Love the race layout! Can't wait to follow your new project. Please..... keep us posted on the build. I'm living vicariously through you! Bob

I don't know top end yet. Those shortie drives are letting it chine walk a bit when it gets close to 78-80. There is a lot of engine left. I had it to 83, and got out of it. That was 4300..

I am trying to find a set of stock length lowers for it to see if it will settle down. That seems to be the consensus of what I have read so far.

I think it needs to move down to a 30pitch prop as well. Not sure if those 32's are gonna spin all the way up with the longer drive on it.

In 1-2' chop, I cant keep the drives in the water even though the boat is not hopping around.

Cruise all day at 65 @ 3300.

Sweet ride so far. Still a little to do with the set up on it.

Man... if it was a 90-95mph boat... I'd be all over it.
