Default 36 Nor-Tech Cradle

Good Friend of mine is buying a 36 NT, should close this week, he is looking for a Myco cradle or equivalent for his lift? Any body have one they want to get rid of?

Thanks in advance,
Pat

I had mine made with the lift by Hydro Systems the Poly Lift dealer down at the Lake of the Ozarks. We ended up with an 18K lift with a work platform on the rear which works great...

Default Boat lift cradle

Spicy,
ALLSTAR Marine has the cradle in the picture available. It was used for a 32' skater. The cradle is in excellent shape. Could use new carpet. The cradle includes the ladders and crossmembers. The I beams under the ladders were used for the former owners new v-bottom boat. The cradle is in a box truck located in Pasadena, Maryland. Give me a call if you and your buddy would like to come and take a look at the cradle. We have it listed on Boat Trader as well. If interested I can assist with installation and or delivery. The boat lift company owner is located in Pasadena and may even travel to Edgewater to install since he is familiar with the unit.

Looking back it was their "Hydro-Sheild" model and cost around $2145.00 in a two tone (Yellow & Blue).

As for the cradle you will want to make sure it's wide enough to carry the weight on the "spray rails" like is done on the Myco trailer. This is what I was told is the preferred way to support them. Not sure whether the Skater one would line up with a Nor-Tech. If they do that's great and would solve your problem.

I've added a pic I just took from my webcams of the "Cat Rack" to give you an idea of how mine was fabricated.

Let me know what measurements need to be taken and I will do my best to get them for you. Keep in mid the center X bracing is bolted in so that could be adjust in width if necessary.

Thanks,
Fred

How about that Aluminum 36 Nortech trailer in the classifieds, and lop off the axles?

Boat is going to stay in Florida for the winter so don't need to make a decision this week, I have a call into my lift guy, i know they can do anything as they Build the Magnum Brand lifts here locally. Just throwing it out if somebody had something laying around....

Allstar I will pass the info and pictures to my Buddy... I don't like the way it is picking the Skater up should be lifted as Jim mentioned... It could work would have to look into it.

Thanks, Pat

Spicy,
No problem. Let me know if your guy has any questions or would like to take a look at the cradle just to get an idea of what it is in person. The cradle can be modified or adjusted to accommodate the boat I am sure. Keep in touch.

Thanks,
Fred Brady

Boat lifts Unlimited in Olney Md did mine, when I purchased the lift. It was around an extra $300 at that time for a 36 Spectre. They know what he needs no problem.
