are you turning them in or out? And have you tried both ways?

brian41 09-06-2013 05:45 AM

Yes, turning in the problem with the handling does not come in until just over 100 MPH but it is just as bad. Unfortunately 3 weeks ago the owner was out with the boat and he ingested water into both engines hydrolocking them. We are currently working on getting it back on the water and taking measures to stop the water from shooting up the pipes when coming to a stop.

Updated the drives but now have driveshaft alignment issues.

Why the change? Blowing up drives? Have you gotten it to run good over 100?

Had the wrong drive height and opted for a more reliable package that should also run faster.

Sunday run left us with some issues to address...yesterday was much better, even thou Lake erie was a mess we were able to put on over 180 miles averaging about 90 MPH and a top speed of 119 were we ran out of RPM. The boat is a totally different animal compared to the Bravo set up. Docking, shifting, turning radius and speed are huge improvements, planning time went up but we know the props are to small and each time we got better at it.

Saw the boat on Saturday 9/26-- I caught it running north at a MUCH faster pace than this a while before I saw him heading back South. https://www.dropbox.com/s/8d2xfi18xp..._0717.MOV?dl=0

Brian, I actually spoke with you about having O2 bungs put in my risers -- I'll have my boat put away in a week or so and contact you then.
