Props turning in or out?

Depends on power. If I recall your boat is running about 750hp, correct? I have mine spinning in to help with stern lift and I have a merc 700 boat. Once you get into the 800hp range and up they typically spin props out. Obviously someone with more experience and knowledge on the reasoning can chime in......

OUT 3 to 5 MPH faster plus the boat runs much more flat. I have spent many hours testing same day same water conditions, this is a fact not what i read on the internet. This hull packs tons of air with it`s deep tunnel the faster you go.

See mine were turning out and I really did nt like it. I really cant say why just seemed to handle funky. I swapped drives and rotated them in and I like it better. Last time in Havasu ( was about 80 degrees) Ran 135. There's a you tube video of 135 run. Ran 131 at local lake and slightly colder. Roughly Same amont of fuel and weight inside boat.

I have 800's in my boat turning out seams to handle and run well that way haven't tried turning them in, but my understanding is you would turn them in to get more bow lift, and my boat runs faster and safer running flat and don't need to go above 3.5, 4 max if water is super flat, also think it is going to depend on your props and how much cupping they have cause that I believe will also affect bow lift.

Hey FX6 What kinda speeds you getting out of your boat with 800? I also run about 4 on the trim for top speed and boat ran basically same speed at local lake with props turning in or out..But yes i do believe it carries the bow more with them turning in.

boat came with 35 pitch five blades don't know what work has been done to props before I got the boat, runs 125 with good acceleration good out of the hole can maintain plain at 17 mph, seems to be a good compromise for all around boating. been thinking about trying a set of 36's to see if I can get lower rpm at higher cruise speed, think on the way to key west we were running 90 at around 5000 rpm would like to get 90 in lower 4100-4200 range if the boat can turn bigger props without becoming a pig, had 5 people lots of gas luggage, what is your set up and rpm and speeds
