Anyone know the story on this 39 Nortech
I looked at this boat a few years ago (2007) when it was in FL and thought seriously about buying it if I could sell my current boat. At that time, it had #5 drives and I think 525's in it. At some point, I guess it was bought and totally re-rigged with #6's and big power, then right back on the market. As far as I know, the boat has basically been for sale since 2007 on one site or another. It was 299K a few months ago and now 199K. Is it price? Colors? Been in an accident? Maybe too much after-market rigging? Just seems odd to me that no one has ever really owned and used the boat.

I ended up buying this boat. Story is a wealthy fella from MD bought the boat in Florida in 2009-2010 and had it re-rigged in 2010 at Nor-Tech, with Nor-Tech 1000's and #6's and a bunch of other work that you now see on the boat. He used it for a few years, sparingly (27 hours), and then decided to sell it. He owned a Rough Rider and a few MTI's in the same 5 year span and didn't use the 3900 much. He also liked going over 115mph apparently. So he sent it to Pier 57 where they held it for the winter until I recently bought it. Finally got her on water last weekend and the boat is absolutely incredible. Everything was done right on this boat and no expense spared. I am grateful for finding this deal and couldn't be happier with the boats performance. Its about the loudest thing I've ever heard on water, which is causing me some strife locally on my lake... but I personally think it sounds great. Otherwise, flawless.
