Is it going to be a big concern with #6 and low water pickups in a river vs ocean water?

I too would like to know this.. shallow water with #6 drives an issue?

I would not think so, #6's should have higher x- dimension than a bravo per say... Same as any drive or boat you need to watch your depth finder per the draft of water you personally need yo boat safely.

Check300 has run single #6 for years on the river.

Lastly the Australian's ski race all day long with single #6 drives and monster engines in the rivers also
