Default Nor-Tech 390 Tongue Weight

Working on some hitch options in anticipation of my NT-390. 2 current owners gave me a combined boat / trailer (Myco or Evolution Custom Alum Trailer) weight of between 15,500 -16,000 lbs for their 390's depending on fuel load.
I'm seeking an accurate tongue weight number from a fellow 390 owner w/ a late model 390 Sport (2016-2018) who actually took their boat to the scales and weighed the tongue or put it on a scale of their own.
I'd prefer to stay away from guestimates.

Both my 340 Sports weighed in at around 14,500 on the trailer but I never even saw 1000 lbs of tongue weight. w/ 2 spares and a toolbox on the trailer.

My guess is a 390 has approx 1200 lbs tongue weight but that is a guess.

Might contact Randy Kent at Marine Concepts and see if whomever delivers his 390's to LOTO has a number for you.

Just a thought but would either one of the trailer companies have that answer?

I asked one and don't have any relationship w/ the other, so that ended up being a dead end.
Thanks for the suggestion

Please let us know after you find out. I'm sure you will have a complete FEA, along with flow charts, and a thorough list of "what ifs". LOL

JK> Actually curious to see myself. The Skater has hardly any tongue weight and we have altered damn near everything to get some at all.

At your recommendation, I have a call into my friends at NASA! Not like they are working on anything these days.

Once I have something to share I certainly will.

Big tires on the back of the trailer.
Small tires on the front of the trailer.

That way it will generate downforce at speed on the highway; like a 32' wide spoiler for the truck.

Or just tuck your choppers under the tunnel.
**take video of that shlt if you do
