Yup thats a nice one too... I was hoping for some mercury power this time around.. some 1075`s maybe..

It's been for sale for quite some time with a bunch of price reductions. I imagine it is because of the non stock power. However, looks to be a solid boat.

J-Bonzy, do you have any info on it? Like who rebuilt the engines? The told me Randy Sweers out of Luisina but that doesnt make sense.

Off hand I don’t know the details, Full Force Tim may have some of those answers

Anyone know about the Orange-ish one that was for sale on here with no motors? Was kind of a skull flame paint job, but looked good. Well to me I like that chit.

I`ve seen 3 so far.
2 were no good, this one is clean:
https://www.boattrader.com/boat/2004...ercat-8891511/
https://www.google.com/search?q=3600...kjXdemDF0,st:0

I put down a deposit and after negotiations we settled at $180(based on the video)

I was al ittle disapointed, there were at least 15 places that either had a scracth or rock ding in the paint.
Once I seen the $10-$15k in paint work I lowered my offer to $165, doubt he`ll go for that but insurance and loan on 20 year old boat is very difficult .
Havent heard back yet, ..
Maybe I`m being picky it is a 20 year old paint job ...but I just sold a 1986 with flawlless paint. Hard to go backwards
Chips and sratches bug me.

The engines have good parts in them :
The boat came with 700 hp engines, and he had them re-done to 850 or so. He got passed at 120 by another boat and stepped up to have the motors done with the capability of much more.

The engines are tall deck Dart blocks, with new JE positions. The block has never been bored.

The rods are Carillo, and the crank is from Lunati. The crank was re-done by Lunati directly on the current build and set with 2- keyways for the blower pulley.

With a change of fuel, and a change of the lower pulley, 1300-1350 is what they would run.

He had them dialed back to the current setting for ultimate reliability, and loves the current performance level.

15-20 hours max on the engines since they were completely redone to the current specifications.

* The heads are Dart Pro-1 that are ported

* The ignition controller is a MEFI 4 with Daytona sensor controller and coil.

* Isky solid roller cam with T&D shaft. 1.7:1 rockers

* Positions are JE

* Block is a Dart tall deck

* Rods are Carillo

* Crank is Lunati with an extra key-way cut by Lunati for the blower configuration.

Ooof I think I might get claustrophobic laying down in that one. Getting softer as I get older.

Glad to see your cabin worked out so well, lol.
