Default Older 390 S pricing

Give me some opinions on the used boat market. Looking for advise on the older 390 S models as going to purchase one soon. There is not a lot of 2nd hand sales data out there on these, but I do know that they are a high quality boat and it fits everything I am looking for. Either way, it is NOT an appreciating asset. Yet I find most dealers and private sellers are asking for an 8 to 10 year old boat the same price as the boat was brand new with say 600 to even to well over 1000 hours on the motors. (not including trailers here). I do understand there is inflation. But there is no way a boat could inflate 40 to 50% of its value after 10 years. I looked it up and as a general rule, the standard depreciation rate for boats is at least 10% to 15% depreciation during the first year and then 7% for the following 4 years up to 40% by the 10th year of use. I also looked up the MSRP for a 2016 390 S which was $389,220. I see most of the 2016s for sale are in that price range or more, or another words, your going to pay close to brand new pricing of back in 2016 for a used boat with a lot of hours on it. Are people actually doing this? I can understand some collectables like apache's going up, but they are making allot of 390's. Are sellers dreaming on these prices or are people actually paying this? If anyone bought an older 390s let me know what you paid for it.
