Mentlepause, everything that Sunsation has done over the years with there models have been awesome. They have improved every model in their line up, and have had stellar reviews, as well as offer alot of boat for the dollar. It's good to see they are getting into the big boy league, I'm sure the 427 will be just as nice as the rest of the line up. Good luck with your purchase.

The Merc 1075's run 110-112mph. So with a lighter layup of maybe 1500-2000 pounds and these are the same motors that were in Cyclone, just turned down a bit, around 115-117mph. These motors have a little more low end torque all the way through.
