have-nt put a set of 700's in one yet runs 100 with the Ilmors, 700's will be in the 105 range and high 400's buys one.

What would the price differential be between the Ilmors and the 700's, as the 5mph probably is not really worth it ??

Also look at the difference of the boat will now have a totally different drive which has not been proven as of yet, but will probably be vey close to Merc's #6. The transmission will definatly be beter vs a bravo drive. All this costs more money, but to me will be more reliable in the long wrong, ask Terry he will tell you honestly and what the avaliablity of when this new package is available. Jeff

Re: What is happening with the 39V

My GUESS is the Merc 700 package will cost you in the ballpark of 15-20K difference per side over the Ilmor 625s or Merc 600s. As Jass says, some portion of that is because you are getting a much better drive.

who did a 39 with Ilmors???? i heard there was talk but i did not think it went though.... 700's would be nice but what is the price diff between a proven #6 and 850's over this new setup...i would not want to be murcury's test baby..just my .02... james

850's to 700's will save you around $50,000.

If the boat runs 100 with Ilmors, what does it do with the Nortech 650's, which I assume to be a better value to me as a potential customer? What is the flywheel HP of your motors and what warranty ?? Any authorized repair facilities at present in SoCal or Lake Havasu, AZ for your product/engines ??

Re: What is happening with the 39V

Never built one with Ilmors. Ran 97 with Nor-Tech 625's. They are available as a 650 EFI and putting the first one together now. Those are rated at the flywheel. 89 Octane and a 1 year warranty. The drive is warrantied by the manufacturer.

Forgot.
Very easy to service. We can use the mechanic of your choice.

Those 650 EFI's supercharged and what drive you using ??

No blowers on the 650's. We also have a natural 750. Have been using the Imco SC's. Would like to try Konrads. Any thoughts?

I have heard that the IMCO's in general work better for CATS, and it sems that Konrad has a good reputation. I have been known to take a 'flyer' on the smaller guy every know and then as is evident by my current boat with twin Raylar 600's, who is also building a 725 now. Natural 750 EFI ??

Terry, I think the new Konrad with your 650 and 750 efi with full 1 year warranty would be an awesome package on the v's and cats, my 2 cents, I love them, Can I get the 750efi nortech and konrads on my new 39, please. want a 110mph 39, Jim

I'm totally sold on the 39V, no questions about it. What a great looking boat, NorTech with an edge. I'll take one, with twin staggered 900's por favor!!! And for graphics, I think I'll stick with something in a neon green - I've gotten used to it. N-T all the way!!!

Rippem 06-03-2006 03:47 PM

Re: What is happening with the 39V

Running 90+ MPH on 525's ...

It's gotta run close to 80 on 425's right?

and a "big" 39' that'll run 80? on 5 year warranteeable drivetrains?

Re: What is happening with the 39V

I think that is by far my favorite yet. The colors are great but not extravagant. And I love the 650's in there. Once again, great job Nortech. Now if I could just sell this Donzi for oh 425K I'll order one :drink:

Saw a new 39 on the lake this past weekend. Great looking boat (much nicer in person) and great colors as well.
