Re: What is happening with the 39V
The 39 looks great, I love the smooth deck, the boat definatly has some europeen lines. The dash is awesome, the cockpit looks really deep and roomy. The cabin looks great, just couldnt make out what it is on the left side, looks like a big cooler. I think a pair of TMP 850's or even 900's with some ASD-6's would be cool. I like the boat, good job Nortech
Any pics of the head. |

OK ran it for the first time yesterday. Out of the box 4 guys 600 mercs Hering props- 94 MPH. I think we can do a little more but we're very pleased with the first day's results. Dry weight is 9200 lbs.
|
Re: What is happening with the 39V
Sweet! Great #'s
|
Re: What is happening with the 39V
That is a great # for the first run! Are you going to keep testing with different props? Are you testing different drive heights?
|
Re: What is happening with the 39V
Many thanks for the new pics - man, that thing looks great in the water! This might just be the most beautiful V under 40' - I've yet to see its equal. You guys really kicked some ass on that thing - great job! Hope to see it in the river one of these days or at least a glimpse from the CC Yacht Club. Take care.

Re: What is happening with the 39V
That is awesome. Very effecient bottom especially at 9200 pounds. See you the week after, thanks Jeff
|
Re: What is happening with the 39V
Yeah what was really nice is that it came right up on plane. We could maybe go a little higher on the X for a couple more mph but I'd hate to give up the driveability. We'll play with few more props.

Re: What is happening with the 39V
terry anything new??
|
Re: What is happening with the 39V
I think that the design of that boat is OUTSTANDING! I really like the overall layout and design. Outstanding job and 94 mph, that is strong.

Re: What is happening with the 39V
is that the same boat from the miami show with a paint job or a new boat?
|
Re: What is happening with the 39V
Pretty much the same cockpit colors as the show boat. This one's a new boat with 485HP Yanmars and ASD 8 drives. It's heading for Norway.
