Hey Steve, I got it finished Memorial day weekend. I've put about 70hrs on it since and it's been totally turn key. I'm really happy with the way it runs. However, I haven't really had time to tweak it to get some good numbers. Since I'm in the boat busiiness, everybody else's boats come first. I'm running 4.5 -5 lbs of boost and getting 84 in 100+ degree temps glass water and 90 degree water temps, so I'm pretty happy with that. I'm running a 29 P5X at 5500 RPM. After the season slows down and it cools off a little I'll up the boost and see how it runs. If I break it now, it'll sit all summer so I'm really babying it. I got one opportunity to run it a few weeks ago while at Greer's Ferry lake in Arkansas. A cold front came in and the temp dropped to about 85 and a little chop on the water. I was able to get 87 under those conditions. I tried a 30 Bravo prop and it will run 1-2 MPH faster, but I don't like anything else about the prop. I figure I'm making about 750-775 HP with that boost, maybe a little more. I need to send the P5X back to Julie for some tweaking.

What kind of speeds are you getting now that it's gotten hot?

Hey Bob,
Have Matt blueprint that 29" and you'll be knocking on 90 easy in good conditions. Glad to hear to hear it came together.
Stay in touch with us!

Steve
