Nordic 35 flame

How much wood is used in the construction of the hull in
the 35 Flame? Does the hull hold togheter in the ruff stuff without fiberglass cracks or blisters ?
I am interested in buying a 35 flame.
How is it compared to Donzi 35 ZR they ave the same speeds
I believe?

The 35 is an awesome boat....we have been the East Coast Nordic dealer for years and have had ZERO hull issues. You can contact (PM) SICK NRODIC here on OSO if you need input. He has a 35 with 525's and loves it. You can PM me if you need other NORDIC client contacts to ease your mind. The DONZI is a nice boat as well but the NORDIC is faster, well built and less money. They also hold their value better than a lot of the other companies out there.......just my .02.

I read in a test that the 35 only runs fairly in rough water!
What do they mean does it not have a sharp bow entry?
or how does it run compared to a Donzi 35 ZR?

We run them here in the ocean some rough water at times without isue. It has an agressive 24 bottom for entry/attack. I suggest you drive both and compare all aspects of the rides.
I like the flame ...easy to handle and faster than the Donzi with same power.

You got them there James!!!!

But the Donzi does run 92-93 with 525's. The Nordic isn't any faster than that, I believe.

Im pretty sure were going. Were not sure which boat to take if they're both ready though. Probally the Cig, by then the Hustler could be sold.

Our best 525 35 Nordic hit 93.7 GPS

Now price out the boats discussed..........They are about the same in quality/construction and performance .....cabin space in the Nordic is far larger than the others (both headroom and width......the best value for the money I believe would be the Nordic. As far as speed 1.3 MPH is not a big difference in my opinion.....and for thousands less you also get in gelcoat graphics design and a lot more room in the cabin area. Drive the boats and then price them out with similar option and weigh the value for your money.
