I got rid of mine too. The only thing I ever used the ski pole for was anchoring. Unfortunately, when I anchored off the transom, my rope would usually get tangled up in my drive and prop.
I put a transom light over mine.
Regards,
Steve

Correct on the Thor......I am trying to get Nordic to make that ski pole an option (On or Off) all models. No charge if you want one.

I'm keeping mine. Buddy has an Eliminator, need it to tow him in. Re-named it the Eliminator tow pole.

That's funny.

I KINDA LIKE THE POLE FOR PULLING MY FAT AZZ OUT OF THE WATER. THE KIDS USE IT TOO FOR THE SAME REASON. PLUS WHEN WE GO TUBING IT MAKES IT EASY FOR THE TOW ROPE. BUT IT IS A MUCH CLEANER/SLEEKER LOOK WITHOUT IT!
