Default Anybody heard of this?

I just bought a 99' 25ft. Nordic Scandia. I'm having a problem with the temp guage. It just jump back and forth between 0 and 240 never getting a good reading. I called Nordic and they told me that I have Medallion Guages and that they go bad, as well as the module that they connect to. Unfortuanetly they don't make those anymore and that I would have to change all of my guages as well as the module. Just wondering if anybody else has had this problem or I am jinxed.

You need to troubleshoot the problem. Gauges are built in batches and some styles get discontinued. You may find a close replacement or not. There are many gauges that will work if thats the problem. You may only need a sender. Troubleshoot and fix as nec. Don,t assume and throw parts at it.

Thanks for the info. I have already replaced the sending unit twice. Still nothing. I noticed that it has another sensor on the other side of the thermostat housing. Still trying to figure what that one does. Don't know if it a water pressure sensor or not.
