Hey Nordic Family,

Looking for some feedback to help in planning this years Noridc Regatta East. I would like to first start off with this years date. I know that a few are going to Table Rock and last year it was the same date as the KY Lake Poker Run. So here are some possiable dates please post your desired date and I will track the responses and from that pick the date.

Dates are

June 13-15
20-22
27-29

July 18-20
25-27

If any one sees a date that conflicts with another big event please let me know otherwise post your choice.

The events that could be conflicts for the Nashvegas Nordic Navy are our (MCPA/Old Hickory) Poker Run, the KY Lake Run, or the TN River (Knoxville) Poker Run. I have to attend a convention in Las Vegas on July 27-31 (It's a dirty job, but somebody has to do it ). I have a call into Tim to see if he has a MCPA date for '08. Does anyone else have KY Lake or Knoxville???
I will be attending the Nordic Regatta regardless, but several of us do run some of these other events too. Knoxville has been a blast for the last 2 years ...................
Right now, I count 6 or 7 Heats from here that should be able to attend next year.
Will advise ASAP.

I just talked with Tim B, our fearless (MCPA) leader.
He does have the dates of the other area events and will email them to me ASAP, and of course I will post them here.

KY Lake Poker Run is June 20/21.

June 27,28 and 29 should work for me

July 25-27 is best for us. Lots going on in June. But we'll try to make it whenever it's scheduled.

July 25-27 is to close to Sturgis......the July 18- 20 would work for me

MCPA Haulin on Old Hickory Aug 1 - Aug 2

Destin Emerald Coast Run Aug 14 - Aug 16

OK Guys,
I have these dates (fairly well confirmed):
KY Lake Poker Run, June 20-21
Knoxville/TN River Poker Run, July 11-12
Nashville/MCPA Poker Run, August 1-2
Emerald Coast Poker Run, August 14-16
July 4th weekend July 4-6
It looks like the best weekends are (just speaking for the NNN):
ANY weekend in June except 20-22
July 18-20
Just an idea that I have seen from the LCPR organizers, they run their event so people attending can also spend Labor Day week on the lake............AND it sounds like late June is convenient for some people.
If the Regatta was held the weekend of June 27/28/29, people could (their option obviously) stay over at Cumberland for the 4th of July, which is the following Friday, and make it a vacation at Lake Cumberland. What do you guys think???
