How fast does this boat run with light load? Salt or fresh but please specify. Also, would really like to hear from an owner... Not someone who "has a friend and thinks that it might run...."

If in good condition, boat will run 88 MPH on GPS, 30 pitch bravo's. No BS, I sell these boats and have owned three myself.

With the 525's your looking at 90 -92 depending on conditions.

Very fast nice riding boat. Feel free to PM me if you need more info

Default 35 Flame w/twin 500's

Are you considering a purchase?

I'm having mine built as we speak with twin 700's - I understand you don't want to hear a friend who has a friend story but we just ran one with twin 700 Paul Pfalfs and it ran 105 at 5200 RPM's

Good luck with the purchase - I'm in Long Beach CA so let mek now if you make it this way...

Like you, when I was doing research, years ago, I didn't want to hear what some friends boat did. In fact, I didn't care what anybodies boat did. I only trusted published magazine articles. There should be a couple of back issues of Poweboat and Hotboat that will document around 88 mph freshwater lake speeds on the 35 with 500 EFI's.

My first 35 had 500 EFI's. Here's another perspective: way back in 2001 we encountered the Dick Simon Marine Formula 353 Factory II race boat twice on Arizona lakes. I'm not kidding when I say we could run circles around it. We also ran circles around the Sun Country Factory II boat, although I think it was a 382. Not to demean Formula's, I think they are superbly engineered and built boats. It's just that Nordics are faster and in those days a Nordic cost a lot less.

You will enjoy a 35 with 500's.

What kind of speeds are you running with the 575's?

Jima97, what sort of speeds are you seeing with your 35' Flame with 500's?

A friend just bought one from Oregon that sunk. He's getting it ready to run and I wondered what to expect.
