Sink Questions
#1
My new (to me) Heat has a sink, my last one didn't so I don't know much about them. Are they just a gravity feed? Where is the tank and what is it's capacity? I don't see any evidence of a pump and there isn't any sound when I turn the faucet on. Where do they drain - I can't find any drain hose leading to the engine bilge so I'm suspecting just straight down. Is there a way to pull the sink out - I can't find any access? Thanks

Shane,
My sink has a demand pump. When it senses low pressure, it kicks on. When it senses high pressure (closed valve), it turns off. If yours isn't working I would check for a short. It may also have frozen if RV antifreeze wasn't used over the winter.
The water holding tank is poorly positioned on the port side, above the gas tank. I say poorly positioned because it tends to make the boat ride low on the port/left side when it's full. I only use mine when overnighting. If you have to get to it for service, you'll have to pull your left interior trim panel.
It drains into the bilge on the left side of the stringer, and drains into the engine bilge near the transom through a hole in the stringer.
Regards,
Steve
