Well I tested it tonight with a little over half a tank and 2 people in the boat. The extra weight in the drive made the boat fell really stable at higher speed. We ran over a hundred with little space to really strech the boat out properly. I did notice that the boat needs a lot less trim to atain higher speed. The drive is really tight right now so it needs a few hours to losen up. I am very happy with the first test so far. No speed loss at all if anything I think it may be faster after some more break in hours. The boat throws a nasty rooster tail with the difuser on this drive. All in all this thing should hold up great with 700 hp but we will see next year how 1000hp holds up stay tuned.

Do these drives get "looser" and gain speed after break in?
