I have some Bennetts. 14"x10"ish I think w/ dual rams & indicators. Great for crosswinds & uneven loads. Many others out there, I think my sizing is right. I rarely use them, except in nasty weather or main channel @ Lake Powell or lots of fat chicks!
. They work like a million, brings the nose way down & can reduce my plane speed. W/ my larger prop, I fall off plane @ 30ish. Tabs can get me to 25ish. Sure screws the MPG's.

pulling a skiier? I have a 26 labbed on my '05 496 HO Rage. I've only skiied behind it once, I'm 6' 200# and I start both feet in. It was my wife's first time pulling me behind the boat so I'm not sure if how far she had the throttle pushed. I wondered if tabs would get me and the boat on plane faster?
What size prop are you running and what rpm are you getting? (never mind I just remembered our boats are not apples to apples)
Why are your exhausts inboard instead of where mine are?

Just recently purchased this boat and it had the Billet HP1000 tabs on it. They are way to much @ 12"-24". I can say the boat planes out faster than any other boat I've been on, just seems to fall over LOL. As for any small Individual adjustments They just seem to throw the boat.
I'm actually looking at the Billet Hp750's that are 12"-15"
I do However like how they look on boat.

Tubing @ 75 is a blast!

I suggest making some friends that own a Mastercraft or Malibu.
Tabs make planing 100x better. Though I rarely use them, they are still a must have for the occasion I need them.
The newer Rages have exhaust outboard, mine's an 02. Mine are more outboard than other's I've seen. Maybe it was ordered that way to accomodate steering or the HP motor comes different.

I'm having more fun with a throttle in my hand & a Whipple in my ear.

I have Mercury 280s K-Planes on my rage. They are great for smoothing out the rough water and keeping the nose down when getting on plane. I haven't skied or tubed behind my boat yet. I shoot a nice little rooster tail when my tabs are all the way down.
