There you go Linster. Like eggs, cats are cheaper in the country :grinser010:. I mean that's practically free compared to California prices.

I was looking at a 2007 in the classifieds just like this one but a 32. Same power, Also the 36 Nor-Tech. Need to take a ride in one. Too bad Nordics aren't a little older.

Can anything be done to the 700's to get more power that is reliable?

The mods Chris did to his 600 can be done to the 700s. The 700 has a bigger cam and intercooler already, and a more rugged outdrive (NXT). Very cool motor with a lot left in it. Regards, Steve |

Chris P.S. I have ridden in both a 32 DCB, and a 36 Nortec. The DCB has a center pod, and feels more like a big Nordic Thor.. ie a lake boat. The 36 Nortec is in a whole different league, and really goes over rough water awsomely. At 142mph in the Nortec with twin merc 850's, you could go over 4ft white caps and carry on a conversation.. I was really impressed. If I had the coin, I would buy one with 700's and do the Whipple mods. All this with a bathroom and a bed. Chris |

700sci's put out 682 horsepower at the crank on Dustin's dyno. They can be easily taken to 825 horsepower with just a PCM reprogram, and the next smaller supercharger pulley. With his Air cleaner, you can get another 22 horsepower, for a total of 847 at the crank. At this level, I would also recommend putting the innercooler on its own pickup to keep intake temps low, and make the motor last longer.

They dont know what they are doin. Just bite the bullet, buy 850s and change the oil!:drink: CB-BLR: How fast is your boat with the upgrades? And how fast was it stock? |
