yes all 4 blades.
Spinelli does not make props anymore. a neighborhood buddy has a set for his twins that just set in his garage and he lets me run it. I just cant get him to sell it to me because they are a set and not replaceable.
BBlades says they could work that 26 some more and get me up to the 5150 rpm, so thats the route im looking at this spring.
You can contact BBlades and test one of their props for somewhere around $40 and they will help you get dialed in.

He gets real busy in spring. You might want to get it done now so its ready for spring. He has mine now.

Calling them today, I have a 22P from my buddy, and Im going to get a 26P from BBlades. For some reason my buddy wants me to try a 22P. Well see what happens. After I get the all the readings I will work with BBlades to get the right prop. Rake adjustment and cup reduction is way over my head!!

What elevation do you boat at?

From the Whipple web site: "The Whipple Stage 1 system is a computer recalibration that increases the maximum rpm level while maintaining a conservative timing curve for 87-octane gas. This calibration is designed to be conservative and reliable like stock, but a higher maximum rpm level for more prop selection. Stage 1 achieves only modest power increases such as 15 foot-pounds of torque and 10 horsepower.
Key features:
• 5450 RPM limit
• 87 octane safe"

Ask Whipple what the power peak rpm is for this ECU calibration.

+10 hp may be good for ~1/2mph in a Rage if EVERYTHING is optimized to take advantage.

With the stock 496HO and a stock B26 I ran ~71-73 mph@5000-5100rpm with positive trim/optimum bow lift. This was full gas with bow cover on (~similar to closed bow) and driver only at 915" elevation in good air (late fall cool dry air) and about 6" chop. I can not imagine your needing anything smaller than that at your lower altitude unless you load up the boat or something is wrong with the hull or engine. Best package will likely be a BBlades labbed B26 dialed in.

Have you ever driven this boat with any prop? Results?

Rage, how much trim can you get out of your boat?
I'm used to my prev baja and could really trim it out with a nice rooster. With my Rage right between 1/2 & 3/4 on gauge the MPH just starts dropping off. Simular results with all 3 blades.

On mine neutral trim (prop shaft parrallel to the hull's pad) is 50% of full scale on trim gage. Generally I can only get increased mph up to ~60% of full scale with my labbed (not BBlabes) B28. Part of BBlades job is to give me more bow lift. I tried a Hydromotive P5X 26 and got 70% trim and the bow was really lifted. But it was too big a wheel and rpms were way below power peak and then the Bravo X1 drive broke from the torque. That prop really hooked up but it was five blades. I am sticking with the 4 blades and working with BBlades from here on. The difference in rooster tail could be do to a higher X dimension on the Baja that causes it to surface sooner or other reasons.

I concur... my neutral trim (prop shaft parrallel to the hull's pad) is 50% of the full scale on the trim guage also. My boat does not gain any speed if I trim above about 60%, and if I try to trim above 60% while going over 88 mph... my boat becomes very ill handeling (does a four point walk). I can trim over this 60% mark without any handeling negatives when going over about 97mph...but speed is lost.

From extensive testing...I would recommend using a long straight edge to set the drives cavitation plate parrellel to the pad on the boat(by measuring from the front and rear of the cav plate, down to the straight edge that is following the angle of the pad, and making the measurements the same)...then getting some help to set your trim guage at the 50% mark. (This is done by rotating the sender on the drive while having another person read the guage). Best speeds are attained while being trimmed at aproximately 60%.

To test for a props correct pitch relative to your boat...determine your max rpm while trimmed at this 60% trim position, and then pitch/tweek your prop appropriately to hit your desired max rpm. It has been my experience that trimming a Rage or Heat above this 60% mark will increase rpm's but will reduce efficiency and give you inacurate slip/speed data.

I really like the P5x's for general boating and/or watersports...but my best speeds to date are done with Bravo props.

Just some rambling thoughts...hope this is helpful,

Chris

just my experience.
By the way what speed were you running when that picture was taken that you posted in the Nordic pictures thread? Very nice!
