Default Dyno report

They used my ignition system to do the dyno test.

They started the dyno test at 3000 528 tq 301 hp

I have a 26p bravo prop 4 blade.

I believe my check balls are still in, I will see and pull them if need be.

Wish I had access to a variety of props, but I don't.

I really appreciate everyones input and will try each and every possiblility.

Is it possible the timing got bumped back somehow?

Do you have a timing tab on the engine/crank?

Timing was rechecked just prior to putting it in the water, Yes It does have a timing tab mounted on the frt cover. I also checked the TDC against the dampner when assembling the motor and it was dead on.

Does anyone have a recommendation on what spark plug they are having good luck with?

I also ordered an 8560 Hardin dist, just cause I'm not comfy with a locked out timing adjustment.

what is your timing? ....and have you checked it with a timing light as the rpm's increase?

Not enough advance as the motor increases in rpm will definately hold it back and keep it from revving.

Well everyone, I checked for air bubbles in the suction side of the fuel system, none, also have 0" vacuum on the gauge I attached. Do have 7-8 psi fuel pressure at the carb fuel pressure side. Replaced the distributor also with one that has weights, set the timimg at 8* and checked the advance, went to 38* at 2500rpm. Checked all the plug wires and replaced the spark plugs with new onesand gapped them at .050.
Now I have a popping through the carb off idle when throttling up hard.

Maybe a power valve? Did you have a backfire?
