Upcoming Poker Runs and schedule
#1
Hi Guys,
It's that time of year again. My crew and several other Nordic owners from this area will be attending some or all of these Poker Runs. I hope see some of you guys there!
The Thunder Run-Lake Cumberland 6-24/25
Tennessee River Run-Ft Loudon & Tellico Lakes 7-15/16
Nashville/MCPA Fun Run-Old Hickory Lake 7-22/23
There is a link on MCPA's website for additional information on these poker runs. www.musiccitypowerboat.com
Our's is a blast as is Knoxville's. The Thunder Run is a new one for us, but it sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun too.
I hope to see you soon
.........
Regards,
Steve

Sorry I missed it Gary, but I was really sick
.
I didn't think bouncing around in a bolster would help much.
We'll make up for it in Nashville
.
Your boat looked great running in the pics and vids.
Regards,
Steve

The TRR/Knoxville PR started out rainy on Friday, but cleared up nicely for Saturday's run. Nordic was represented by 3 Nashville Nordic Navy Heats, Bubba, Nate and me, and a Thor from Michigan (sorry I don't have your name?).
We had a blast as usual, on the water, and at Calhoun's kick ass tiki bar
. AND, they didn't call the cops on us like last year
...............
Thanks John and Mike for another great poker run!
Nashville this weekend! I hope we see you here!

We had a little last minute drama getting our permits from the CoA and TWRA, but other than that, another successful MCPA Fun Run is in the books.
We had to forego our usual 2 class (70 and below, and over 70) blast off, but everything else went well.
It was great to Scott and Gary and thier crews and buddies from Lake Cumberland.
Scott's Flame is one of the prettiest and fastest (with stock power) I've seen. Gary's new Top Gun is over the top
.
Jerry Sabatino and I represented the Nashvegas Nordic Navy.
Was Bubba J there? I didn't see you or Nate, of course by the time we got off the water I couldn't see anything
!

It was great seeing the Nashville group again. Steve, at least we got some quality "warm-up" time in Friday afternoon. BTW -your crew was looking pretty good Saturday!
Jerry's boat runs like a rocket, he pulled me like I was in reverse.
Might just be the fastest 28's ever.
Hope to see everyone at Cumberland early September.
