Hey Steve, thanks for the info. I actually got down there yesterday and was able to climb all over his mid cabin. I am absolutely in love with the boat now. I do want a closed bow version for sure and will be looking hard. Just need to sell my Pachanga and my bike now. Love the pic Steve. Looking forward to being a part of the Nordic family.

Hi Jay,
We are here to help even future members of the Nordic Navy .........
Bob has a beautiful and fast boat. I love his new EFI system. What a piece of mechanical art!
Regards,
Steve

Ned,
Some things you could do with the Bennetts. I was playing around with mine before I switched to the Eddies.
A. just raise the entire tab and rams, 1" or more to create a step effect between your transom edge and the tab.
B. you can move the ram mounting plate on the tab outward, which will raise the end of the tab to + 3 or 4 degrees to keep it from dragging when the nose is up.
C. Both .......
Looking at your boat running, the tabs look like they are working well to reduce chine walk. They are mounted in a much better position than mine were. Like you and Chris, I wonder if they are slowing your boat. One way to find out.
Regards,
Steve

Steve,

those are all great ideas... i never thought about moving the ram mounts out a little to reduce the angle a bit... if i gain anything removing the plates, i'll try that

i think you might be right on the chine walk. i'm going to try removing the plates tomorrow.
