Why would you want to to have a 28 ft or greater Nordic in an open bow config? To me standing up in those drop down bolsters and looking out on that long closed deck must be the best. Why break the beautiful lines of an offshore style deck? That would be a deal breaker for me in a purchase.

I respect your choice.

IMO Thanks

I have a closed bow and there are days i wish it was open, especially because I have little kids. I went with the closed because I said "you know what JD I don't want lots of people on my boat"!....

I really liked the concept of an open bow because it did add that certain flair for the people riding up front. I ended up with a closed bow because I wanted to have something my wife and I can sleep on with no issues. I am very happy with my choice and absolutely love the Nordic for sure.

And the nose is sexy as all get out ;)

Well if you ever have the chance to get in one you'll know. They still have a long lean look to them, but they are one of the most versatile boats on the market. I've had the closed bow, and except for the occasional sleep over, all the forward space is a waste. I can seat 9 adults in outside seating as opposed to only 5.
And if the kids wanna get out of the sun and watch a movie there's plenty of room inside. Last but not least, no more climbing over the damn windshield and across the bow! If you pull to the shore as we do, everyone just walks thru and climbs off the front.
