Lake Travis is very low, but still has a lot of water in it. Mansfield is still open I believe and there are several other parks with ramps and others that have access to unloading a boat. I unload at Pace Bend at least twice a month with a 30 footer. Four wheel drive is a must, but works just fine. And the marina idea is great too, so c'mon out and enjoy Labor Day!!! See ya at the cove!!!

Well, took delivery yesterday (late at night to be exact). I am very happy with the whole thing. We spent today detailing her up, steam cleaned all the carpets and walls in the cabin, and did a thorough clean of the trailer and the boat. Very sexy setup
Started up the EFI 500 and heard this random noise, didnt know what the hell it was. Sounded like it was coming from the transom area, my first thought is "****, the outdrive is clanking, must be the U-joints". Well, after some searching and listening, I look into the exhaust and see some reversion flaps... thought to myself there is no way its that simple. Proppped em open and started her up, no noise, took out the props...noise is back... first experience with a full stainless exhaust with stainless flappers inside lol. I feel like a moron, but at least my outdrive is ok lol. Here is a pic out front. More to follow tomorrow.

Haha, thanks
funny I open up their website and see my boat on the header lol. I want royalties! J/k. No need for jealousy, you too can own a 500efi if I can talk my wife into something a bit...bigger. Nice Heat btw, I like the graphic scheme on yours a lot.

Jay, get her in the water yet? I bet she'd be quite the eye catcher at Lake Belton.
