Default heat windsheild & interior

anyone ever had windsheild off or back panel in cabin by door?im going to put 6.5 speaker in dash under windsheild n need to take one or the other out

Havent taken it off, but the windshield looks to come off with just the screws around the lower edge and the bracket in the middle. I have taken out the panel behind the helm, just 4 screws there.

I'd like pics if you do that. I just installed a system in my Heat and ran spare wires for dash mounted speakers just in case.

i really want to put dash speakers in as well... have you decided on a brand yet? all the ones i've seen stick out too much and look really bulky on the dash

If you don't do some sort of pod there is not enough clearance for the door to open and close. I had about 1/2" clearance to the door even with this large of ring.

did you pull the fiberglass piece inside the cabin that goes from one side to the other? Im getting ready to do this on my boat
