Posting for a buddy with a summer home here at LOTO with a 2000 Heat. He bought the boat here with no trailer. Is all set for an engine swap he wants to do himself at his f/t house near Cedar Rapids, IA. He's hoping to find a trailer to rent somewhere in the upper Midwest area (Chi, St. Louis, Des Moines, KC, etc..), so he can tow his boat the 4 hours from LOTO to his house in IA, do the swap, and trailer back to LOTO -- and return the trailer. I thought someone here might know a Heat owner who slips their boat full-time, and who would be willing to work out an arrangement.

How much is your buddy willing to pay to rent a trailer?

I have no idea. I let him know of this post in this forum, and know he stops by and reads this.
I'll let him pipe in. I'd lend him mine, but Austin is a long way from Cedar Rapids -- and there's a possibility I may need my trailer during the fall and winter.
