So, as the title implies, my poor Nordic has a sunburn. The lettering on the swimdeck has been faded since I got the ole girl, and not in a consistent fashion. I have tried buffing, nada. I have tried wetsanding, zilch. I have tried dribbling angel tears with a dab of leprechaun pee on it, nothing. So, I can either A) suck it up and drive on ( not an OCD friendly option). B) learn To gel coat so I can fix it or C) some sort of deal with the devil to pay someone to do it for me. I prefer B. Has anyone else had this problem before?? What did you do to fix it? Thanks guys!!

Mine is kinda doing the same thing. I considered having a guy cut letters to go over them. I know it's not ideal but figured it could work since the actual letters are recessed below the texture. It's also pretty cheap fix. Just an idea.

I don't want that to happen to mine. Mine is only two seasons only. What do you guys think this is from? I'm thinking since it is the swim step then the water is washing the wax off two quick. Do you think a clear vinyl cover over the letters would protect it? I have an incredible gel guy that could fix them easy. He fixed a nick in my pear red gel and you can't find where the repair was. You could cover in some non skid but I don't know if that would look good.

Give Mike in parts a call at Nordic and ask him about the swim stem protector the make or have made. I saw one on a Heat when I was there in February that covers over the existing NORDIC and is embossed with the Nordic name. Looks nice, not sure on the cost..
