Adding storage next to cooler in a Nordic Heat
I recently added some storage next to the cooler in the cabin of my Heat. i cut out the tissue\cup holder area and added an access door.
there is a surprising amount of storage next to the cooler that is mostly dead space. here is the final result. the rest of the pics show how how i did it. http://i1146.photobucket.com/albums/...pswcgwuhv5.jpg the start: http://i1146.photobucket.com/albums/...psknyruzzo.jpg heres what i cut out http://i1146.photobucket.com/albums/...pslmgihclz.jpg after the cut http://i1146.photobucket.com/albums/...psnggu96wb.jpg used 2 part epoxy to secure new access door http://i1146.photobucket.com/albums/...psj0q4wp62.jpg Closed http://i1146.photobucket.com/albums/...psegfom1u9.jpg added 2 pieces of plywood to block off interior walls http://i1146.photobucket.com/albums/...pstudrz6sa.jpg L bracket to secure wall between storage and cooler http://i1146.photobucket.com/albums/...psipzhbv9h.jpg |
Nice!! Have you done anything under the cabin seats?? Assuming there is a bit of dead space under there.

Great job Ned. You mean to tell me you don't use your tissue holder!? LOL Might be the worst/most useless thing on these boats.
