I need to replace or repair the tach in a 97 heat. These look like a nordic made piece. Can any body calibrate or rebuild these?? It works but it is all over the place. Any suggestions??

I was under the impression Livorsi made those. Nordic has never made any gauges as far as I know. Mine are Gaffrig II which LIVORSI made.

Put in a call to Livorsi. They made the Gaffrig gauges for Nordic for quite a while. Nordic never made any gauges in house to my knowledge. A bunch of other stuff, but gauges, that takes specialized equipment and isn't something companies dable in. Good luck!

Pole setting off, if your rpm gauge has it, most marine analog tachs have them except for some of the true custom made ones.- it should be on the back side of the gauge, use a small slot screwdriver to readjust it or move it off the setting then reposition it back. The pole setting is to position the indicator correctly whether you have 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engine so the rpms can be displayed accordlingly . Also check for loose wire connections and or loose studs on the rpm gauge itself. .

Sometimes it works correctly and then for no reason it will either drop a few thousand or go up....wacky.
