I have a 1 inch spacer installed and running 700-720 hp just curious as to what to expect ive run a 27p5x stock finish before and liked the results any input would be great i wont be able to run it till sunday the weather is not looking good for tomorrow i will report back after i try it. I was running a stock b1 28 pitch and cavitating the crap out of it

Came very close to buying that prop. Looking forward to hearing how it compares to your stock Bravo 1 in RPMs and handling.
I was just was not sure how it would spin vs my Bravo 30 labbed by Merc. I was at the rev limiter

Ok finally found time to post. After running the 28p5x i came to the conclusion its an awesome prop. I ran a best of 88 @ 5700 rpm which is 2 mph faster then a previously tested 27p5x difference in props besides the obvious is 27 was a home done lab job and the 28 was a bblades lab job (thin blades cut down diffuser). Im still cavitating the prop if i come out of the hole to quickly which im not to concerned about since i dont like beating it outta the hole anyway. Midrange pull was excellent and top end was a nice stable ride for not having hydraulic steering yet (soon a full hydraulic steering system going on). Trim was about 1/2 way up and felt good even when bringing up to where it was starting to get a little loose for the speed lol. I do have a question for anyone that can help i am currently running a 1 in spacer how do you think it would perform if i was to remove spacer? Thanks look forward to any replies.

Ya thats what im thinking was wondering more about up top any more speed maybe? I do have lenco 14x21 high performance tabs on boat which are full down on launch helps boat jump up quick its right after plane where rpms jump i may need to start to bring drive up quicker or experiment with tabs maybe not full down ?
