Default Cleat Replacement

I know most people can't stand the older style Nordic cleats withOUT a center hole. They are pretty much useless.

assuming you all know the Cleat I am talking about:

Just sharing what I did to get rid of them. I switched them out with Schaefer 8 inch stud mounted cleats.

( I went on their website and I didn't see the 8 inch stud mounts currently available, but they did have the open base. Same cleat, but you can see the top of the Phillips heads.) I picked mine up through West Marine.

For the deck mounted one, I went with an 8 inch pop up cleat though to keep it clean.

If you had another idea, I would like to hear it.

I didn't want to go down in cleat size to fit inside the existing wells for the cleats. So I just went with a standard cleat. do yours fit inside the wells? Which ones did you go with if you don't mind me asking.

Default Great idea

Why in the world did Nordic use holeless cleats worst part of my boat. Wish I could swap the middle ones out too.
