Default Best 28 single for rough water

I currently have a 08 26 Outlaw. 496 HO does about 63-65 mph. Looking for more speed without giving up the rough water ride. I have zeroed in on the following models
Nordic 29 Escape with 565efi
Hallett 290s V2D with 520-565efi
Hallett 275 with 520-565efi
Hustler 29 Rockit 520-565efi
The Escape is currently for sale , the others I will have to wait for a used one to come up. The Hallett 275 is a new build with a Heat bottom and 270s top. Two have been built as far as I can see. Both are walk through BR. The second 275 has wrap around seating in the back along with rear facing seats. I know Hustler has done as least one MCOB Rockit. I want to be able to carry 10 ppl in comfort when needed. I have read that the Escape is quite slow. Anyone know how fast with the 565efi? My dad just bought a new Rage with a 520. When I measured the running surface it’s only 22.5’ long even though they call it a 25. Anyone know how long the running surface is on the boats I’ve listed? I would like to be around the 80mph mark with a light load. I’m hoping the Hallett 290s V2D and Hustler 29 Rockit will ride better then my 26 Outlaw. Let’s here opinions please. Thanks.

I have a 2008 hallett 290s mid cabin and it handles big water great. im talking loto water.handles better than a 28 heat. the hallett is 1500 lbs or more on weight and cuts waves like a cadilac.

If it's based on the 28 Heat hull it's not your best bet for rough water. What's your definition of rough water? Compared to some other boats that size that I've been in (Progression, Pantera) it's not even close.

I'd say Active Thunder, Pantera, Powerplay, Kryptonite, over any that you listed.
