To get the last couple mph out of it you need to trim to 6 or 7 on the indicators. The newer Heat's don't take much trim as the drive height is pretty high. The older Heats did require trimming way up to get the last couple mph.

Sick Nordic...I saw your boat at Claudio's during Sean's Shelter Island Fun run, it's definitaly not the typical Nordic design Don't forget to turn off your GPS when you arrive at your destination LOL!!!

Your's neither Gary!! I was making a general comment, your boats are the exceptions. Most of them are simple designs that are very dated.

Hey Boatfreak, yes got a new one. Check the other Nordic thread I posted several pixs. I will be at Cumberland over Labor day and the Poker Run.

Most of the Fred Flintstones Nordic's will dust your ass!!!

I tend to like old graphics, doesn't look like Fred Flintstone got 35 cans of spray paint and went to work on the hull as most Cig's do.

Gary, Have my boat at a "qualified" Mercruiser repair shop and it looks like multiple (3 or 4) problems on each motor.MOst of them are minor but I do have a cracked intake manifold! I'll keep you up to date but it definetly was a defect from the factory. So much for mercury,s quality control. Brian

Linnie...settle down, I ordered and took delivery of one of the nicest 28 Nordics around in 2001. Although I don't own it anymore, I still consider myself a member of the Nordic family, abeit a divorced member and have the right to say what I want about the product. I take it you own a Nordic and are fiercely proud of it??

Any Nordic will "dust my ass" right now because I don't own a boat at the current time. I sold my 28 Heat last year and they're no faster than any other 28 with the same power so get off your high horse. I have nothing against Nordic, it served me well for the 2 1/2 years I had it. I just want a hull that is designed and built differently. No matter what you say, some of the Nordic designs could be updated and I'll take a Cig any day. Sick Nordic and Gary are showing what you can do with some imagination.

Don't worry though, I heard Fred just got layed off, Pebbles and Bam Bam are the new kids in town! The next boat is coming out Dino purple!

Oh BTW...Ohio State will finish near the top like they do every year.
