What's not to like?

They are good boats that have a fine attention to detail.The fit & finish is very good compared to the average east coast boat.

The gel coat work is one of the tops. Colors are very vibrant. They do not stitch any embroidery. No threads falling out four years later.


With 500EFI's mine will run 88-89 MPH, GPS on a 95 degree day, half full of fuel, two people on board. My GPS shows 91 MPH in fall.

The plus is it has a large cabin for a 35'. The cockpit area is fine. The engine compartment is tight. If you plan on doing a lot of wrench turning, its not the boat to have. If you want to install a blower, you will need scoops.

The boat is stable at 90. In rougher water 3-4 feet, the boat tends to want to launch. You have to keep the tabs & drives down to keep it more in the water. Being a deep V, it lands very well. In smooth water, the lift makes it run.

The old Nordic trailers are way to low for most boat ramps. I had to raise mine 5" to get it in my drive way and keep it from hitting bottom while backing in. I hear they have raised the new ones.

Factory support is weak. If you are persistent, you can get help.

See Gary in this forum. He is a East Coast dealer as well as been a owner for many years. I got his old boat.

This is my first twin, but had have many other singles. I like it more than most any other twins in the area. For what they cost, its a great value for the $. If $ is no object, I would suggest a Cig or Outer Limits.

We have one and run it on Lake Michigan. I second everything that Linnie said. My opinion matches those comments.

It is hard to find a boat with the fit and finish they have in that price range.
It is a very fast and efficient hull, speed is high, fuel consumption at cruise is low.

You might want to try the Hotboat forums. There's more west coast types over there and you might get more responses.

It cruises very good. It does not need much drive trim at those speeds, there is alot of lift and not much drive trim is needed at those speeds.
Ours cruises at 50mph and 3000-3100rpm.
