Re: Wind deflectors for 35 Flame
I installed the kal wind deflector at the end of last season and loved the results. on my 28 we can now talk to each other @ 60 mph :D . Had to laugh my :evilb: off when I got the bill. I just told them to send me a set and figured 2-3 hunski at best. All I could do was laugh. and pay.. but the do work!

Ok,
Here are pics of the deflectors installed on my Heat, up and down. You'll notice the starboard deflector does clear my compass, but blocks the view when down. Regards, Steve |
Re: Wind deflectors for 35 Flame
Steve, is it the picture or have they still not figured out how to match the color of the windshield.
I had mine remade to match the correct smoke color :( |
Re: Wind deflectors for 35 Flame
Dave,
They are pretty close, and you know how smoke is, the light going through it changes the contrast. I'm OK as is. One little ***** I have is the port deflector wants to fall back to vertical when it's folded down. The starboard unit stays put. I've tightend the thumbscrews until my fingers hurt, no difference. Oh well, just another little quirk to work out. Regards, Steve |

Under $200, less clunky, block more wind, completely remove, doesn't tear hole in cockpit cover when traveling, etc... I now have had both. It would be an easy decision if I were to do it again
