Wind deflectors for 35 Flame

Sometime a while back someone had posted about the "Kal's Custom" wind deflectors that are made for the 35 Flame. I was looking for a $$ and a ph. # to call about ordering some.
Thanks,
Dean :D

BTW.....one of my customers got the Wind Aways and thet work sort of.....they are flimsy and the mounting system is kinda cheesy and poorly designed. They do deflect wind but at high speed they flex a lot and you are always looking to see if they are going to come off the Nordic windshield and smack ya in the face. A bit unerving to say the least when moving at 90+

Paul,
Thanks, the Kal Customs looked great on a 35 Flame.

I never used them at 90 so I can't give an opinion at that speed, but for speeds up to 70 I thought they were great. The cheesy mechanism works great and does not leave any marks on the windshield, can be removed or put on in an instant. The Kal Kustoms that I've seen require drilling holes in the windscreen...not what I wanted. They never came close to coming off, but then again, my Nordic was kind of a putz and didn't see the speeds you all are seeing.

OK have some info and trying to get pics and pricing for everyone who wants them. I will try to post it all tonight or sometime tomorrow.........

BTW drilling is required on the KAL KUSTOMS..... BUT at speed we feel it was far better than the Wind Away set up. We found the rubber was separating from the clamp style bracket and yes up to 65-70 they work fine. Over that speed is where we noticed the design flaw. I will say I do not think they are rated over 70 MPH if I am not mistaken. In fairness to that MFG claim.
