Re: Northern NJ spots
Nice way to wake up on my birthday. Win a ride in the Kilo Kat. :evilb:
I'm definitely up for that. As far as a ride in a real boat I get that every time I take the OL out. I don't see the condo goin any where soon. But you never know when it comes to adding to the fleet. Kinda glad some one else got the boat I really own to many right now. I gotta go to boaters anonymous to get some help. Luc I won't need anybody fillin in for me. Panther, Mr. V. doesn't have a cat he has a kitten. :evilb: Maybe someday it'll grow up and be a cat. |

Re: Northern NJ spots
I'm not gonna make it to next week end without taking my boat out. With all the wind this weekend I only was able to get in a Panther run to the bay and back. :p

Re: Northern NJ spots
Hi,
Let me first start out saying that Im a very new boater out on the bay and rivers. Ive been reading about the bay and Navesink and Shrewsbury rivers and have been taking notes on what you all said. I have a 27' regal and took it out for the first time Sunday and cruised along those spots and had a ball. Now the real question. Its that time of year again and Im thinking about taking it up the river for the fireworks. What do youse all think about that. How crowded is crowded ( ie how early do I need to get there) and do i have a prayer of navigating my way out at night with the "traffic". I saw the tight channel and of course after the fireworks 2230 would be low tide. And also any good anchoring spots ( you know out of the way but able to get out when its time) Any input would be of great help. Keep up with the tips- K |
