Thanks! I'm getting better at them, it's not taking as long as it used to.
When Panther ran back to Sandy Hook I ran out to the end of the Pier (or whatever you wanna call it) to get a few shots. (We went back on land :( .) It was the same day as the PR, so it counts for PR pics! :D

Yea, if you weren't afraid to run out of the river you could pick me up in NYC and bring me back to NJ.

Nope, the boat was settled. Crossed a wake on a high speed tight turn.

Fast tight turn

There you go, although I did have the Whaler around the hook fishing with my son last week. Geeze, I think even the 15 Whaler has more ocean time than the resin bucket :evilb:

Well, I never made it to Paddys today
Launched about 9:30-10am and headed out, the bay had so much fog couldn't see a thing.
I figured I 'd go slow and head to the hook, when I reached the Hook the fog got thicker-ferry boats were popping into sight out of nowhere, way too close for comfort. I looked back and couldn't see the Highlands. Looked forward couldn't see the Verrazano or Staten Island. Totally reliant on GPS.
I figured I'd chill by the tip of the hook and wait for the fog to be gone. Got bored so made a few short blasts in between the fishboats hanging in the channel. After a while fog lifted in the direction of Staten Island, made it to great kills Marina, docked rested for a few minutes. Sun finally came up and attempted to do a fly by the Verrazano. Fog came back visibility horrible again bridge disappeared in the fog. It was so frustrating. Had a friend with me who has never been/driven offshore so headed back to the hook and gave him lessons in and out of inlet and made him drive 5 miles in the Ocean and back. Did this a bunch of times. Looked across toward LI every time thinking the fog might let up and we could actually make it to Paddys. It just wasn't happening. Too Dangerous. I ended up doing 80 miles of driving going nowhere fast. Another great day on the water.! :drink:
