Casino,

The boat looks nice sitting at the dock! I'll PM you when I know what we're doing. Seems that the other 2 are hitting the Ocean Sat. As you see Mr V is taking out his other boat tomorrow!

I had to pull over and ask someone what street to turn down (First Ave. or something) and finally rolled up on the facility and still had no clue where the ramp was until I flagged down some Park Ranger dude who pointed me in the right direction  :D But I still made it there at 10am sharp to launch that day. I thought you were supposed to be there CR? :(

You'd think with the experience he has on the River he'd be able to get me there the fastest, easiest, and most direct way???!! :D :D :drink: I guess I'll run the ocean next time, won't dare ask Panther for directions via the OCEAN! LOL :evilb: :evilb:

See, he really doesn't leave the river. Atlantic Highlands it just outside the river, outside his comfort zone  He should have had you launch in Long Branch, there is a ramp behind Monmouth Park Race Track. It's free and you wouldn't have to deal with the beach traffic.

Fastest, easiest, direct way would have been exit 114. From that exit it is only 10 minutes.

As I recall, rounding sandy hook a few weeks ago, when it got rough, the OL had trouble keeping up with the Resin Bucket who didn't have to throttle when the little swells came up under us.. My wife even said it was calm

It took us 35 mins from Atl High to Point.

I doubt I'll be down for the Ortley race. It just sucks that it got moved from Point! :( Damn Jenks and the towns people! I was originally planning on taking a half day and heading down. But the ride to Sea Side on a Friday just doesn't seem worth it (could take 3 hrs for an hour race.) I am gonna have to wait until the NY race this year.

Still no word on the NY PR video yet. As soon as I hear, I'll let you know!

Exit 114, take Red Hill to Bam Hallow becomes Oak Hill, cross 25, becomes Chapel Hill. Make a left onto Sleepy Hallow and take that out to 36. Or keep going straight and make a rt onto Kings Hwy take a left onto Grand Ave and your there. Mikey used to tow his 33 Powerplay though there all the time.
I can see why you guys stick close to home in your boats

I pulled Mike's 40 Hustler up that ramp at low tide. Even managed to back the trailer down in one shot

Red Hill Rd. thru those S-Turns with 40 ft. of trailer and 20+ ft of truck, the hills alone would blow his trans,, good luck... Put down the crack pipe Mr. V.
