I'm going tomorrow up the Hudson about 10 miles past the Tapanzee. I hope you decide to go. Maybe I'll get to see you guys in the water when I'm finally in the water :D . Tell MTM I'm going rain or shine. I'll be at the Marina by 8:30 am. I need to be at Lady Liberty by 11:00 sharp. I'm leaving lots of time to deal with the bull =#@$ at the ramp.

The weather was great, no need to squint and still got a tan. Visibility was good too, I didn't even use my GPS.

Ocean was rough today but the boat ran great. :evilb:

I only saw one other powerboat out. I must have just missed Panther.

Nah, Pather ran around Staten Island to avoid the crossing and the little chop that was out there today :D

Mr V were you out today? (I didnt know which boat to look for)

I think I was the only one in the Ocean today :( . The water looked black, I'm sure my cheap goggles made it darker than it really was.
Will you be out tomorrow?

Anyone know what was going on in the bay? When I rounded the hook this morning there was NYPD and CG helicopters and a CG cutter out there boarding 2 other boats. Not sure if it was a rescue of some type.

Panther, great swells in the ocean, too bad you couldn't try your "bay" throttling abilities running with the potato chip :evilb: :evilb: :evilb:

Great swells...... the waves at the beach were only waist high... I guess it's that potatoe chip water talk again...

Better not keep the potato chip in the water to long, it will get soggy and weak. :D

Again bay boy you need to come around the hook, not just run from one river to the next across the bay

So in the bay you didn't encounter any chop but you had to "drive and thottle", what for River Boy?? If you had to throttle in the bay I can see why you're afraid to come out and play in the ocean

Enough to keep the resin bucket on the lift. Might as well take the motors out, it will be a lot less strain on the lift  Wind was out of the south, wouldn't expect much on the beach.
