Cosmic12,
Check out www.senecapowerboats.com for info regarding the run. You can call any of the numbers listed but I would recommend 607-535-2671 for sponsor info etc. etc.. Bill Team Taboo, You going to relax at the cove or do you have some secret testing in mind?? |

Re: poker run info
Will be at the Pirates Run this year. You guys thought of doing a formal structured run on Cayuga ? Know you do a fun run. There are quite a few performance guys that run Cayuga and Owasco that would participate. I understand it takes a lot to put a run together and you do an outstanding job with the Pirates Run.

Re: poker run info
KO,
At this time we really haven't thought to much about another run on Cayuga. The primary reasoning for this is of course, like you stated, the massive effort put forth to accomplish such an event. Also in the past we didn't want to "step on toes" with the local organizers of the various fun runs. However, this year one of our club members has taken over the responsibilities of the "Cayuga Fun Run" and has mentioned possibly building and even structuring the event more like a official run. I'm sure this year will be very similiar to years past while he gets his feet wet. I believe this year the tenetive date for the Cayuga run is in July 8th. The event is pretty fun. You have to stop at various wineries on the lake and pick up specific items from each one. In the middle of the day we do a little rafting :drink: and at the end of the day we go to Deer Head rest. to turn in the items for cards. Really Laid back, No stress, and a Super cheap entry ($25). Money goes toward prizes and T's. Anyway look me up at the Pirates Run. By that time I'm sure the date will be set in stone. C-Ya Bill |
Re: poker run info
Hello all,
As ya'll know, the pigpen went down the road last fall. What's everyone think about a 1990 42 fountain with triple 454 mags? The pictures show well and am told it has 470 original hours. Owner is pretty firm on $59,000, has a newer Myco triple ax. trlr. Need a new name by the way. I think threesome would be appropriate for this one. :drink: |
Re: poker run info
Hey PIGPEN -- how ya doin?!?!
Catchy name you thought of - I wonder how you coulda ever ever thought of that  :p 1990 eh??? heavy boat - very heavy you need triples though so you can use that name :D :evilb: vp |
Re: poker run info
Oh god.....All I can hear is the SUCKING coming from under the engine hatch :D I bet it'll be a great ride. I bet it'll suck to maintain. It'll be fun with a bunch of friends. It'll suck because friends don't pay for gas. It will be fun to tow with a Z71 Tahoe. It'll suck having to call Eddy to come get you when your tranny falls out. :p Your a crazy bastad! If you have to go big, buy a 42 with twin 525's. You can buy one for about the same price in that year range.
P.s. Hey I know it's painfull, but why the hell don't you drag your a$$ over to a meeting or two. You know get your non boat owning A$$ back into the swing of things :drink: :p YOU CAN DO IT! :evilb: |
Re: poker run info

Re: poker run info

Re: poker run info
The Fountains will be the fastest of the vee bottoms. Bill I will also bring up my Bass boat to do some fishing in between weekends. I know the fishing on Cayuga how is it on Seneca. Bill

Re: poker run info
From what I've heard so far this year you might better stay on Cayuga. I'll find out more in the a.m. . Today they had a Memorial day Fishing derby on Seneca. If your on Cayuag, your going to have to look up fellow SPBA member Dave Yaw. He has a 03 or 04 42' Fountain. He is an avid fisherman specializing in lake Trout. He uses a "something???" 22 Spoon. From the sounds of it, he has great luck with that spoon. Also, you might spot Dave Terry who is running the Pirate Run. He also has a 42' Fountain that runs mid teens  . How's your new ride???
