Great time at the sand bar this weekend had a ball ran the shore line and everyone wanted to know if I was doing the poker run....Does anyone know how it turned out?????

Screamin' Seamen' 07-16-2007 07:44 AM

It went great. Looks like 377 Hustler Talon took the bragging rights. I lost my starboard engine half way through. We still ran the poker run and had a great time. Good exuse for repower. It's time to go faster anyway.

The run was great! There was plenty of interesting equipment and it made me yearn to get Mothers Motor Boat up and running again for next year.
The band was fantastic and the boat house rocked, but for the third year in a row, team yikes failed to make the leader board. Better luck next year.
The high point of the day was a surprise video from Toby. The warehouse was full of people but you could have heard a pin drop. When it ended there wasn't a dry eye in the place.
I will forever remember Toby's words when he said that it doesn't matter if you suport the war but you must support the warriors.
Toby, We're poud to say we know you. Come home safe.
Team Yikes

and by the way there are quite a few sea planes on BRANDY they are much louder ! are they subject to noise REGS ? they should be just an additional 2 cents hope all had a great time !

Nice to see you all this Sunday. Gave an exercise on how you can put your boat into the hands of your significant other and not worry about it being sunk.
AHHHHHHHHH, guess most of you weren't there! Does the term YEEEEEEEEEASH, don't forget how to use the trim mean anything?

twin242ls 07-25-2007 03:37 PM

hey it was good meeting you this weekend, I must say though you are braver then I letting the better half go out on their own. Thank god mine has no ambition for that. she just wants to sit back and go fast.

Just returned from Little Sebago

Just got back in from " Little Sebago" on a family trip. Had an awesome time!! Stayed on a lake front cottage off of Ramsdell Dr (red barn style)

What a beautiful place.

The people I ran into where all super nice.

Also went out to Portland one night to check out the bars.. lot of Sox fans, of course I'm an oriloes fan who they played and go beat by while I was at the pub " Fore Play"

Boated and swam and fished all week on the lake

Visited Saco-Funtown ...kids loved it..... me too

and went down 32 and to big Sebago to checkout the boats.

It was however hot!!!!!!!! (no AC in the cottage we stayed in) there was a heat wave, figures

AWESOME TIME, can't wait to go back.:D

Any one know anything about that 86 formula 272 in casco for sale right on 302 at the farm stand. Red and black on new tri axle trailer. someone took the info sign off it.

Audiofn 10-10-2007 11:55 AM

I think that the sign is still on it but on the back side not the front. Check the Starboard stern area.
