Any Sebago Lake boaters here?

not sebago, but we go offshore to the islands off
of mt. desert....swans, cranberries, gotts, ducks,
the rock, etc....
...aren't you a little over "boated" for the lakes region?:D :drink:

..what's the story with that july run up there?..

Ya where on sebago off the 114 side.. Seen you a few times on the lake tazz, great ride you got there!!! Haven't seen you yet this year, you on the lake yet?

ChristianGott - The poker run in July gets a pretty good showing.. Check out the website at sebagolakepokerparty.com the weather last year wasn't the best for it but still got a lot of boats... Come check it out this year its July 14th

I haven't put either boat in the water yet, I was thinking about putting the Talon in tonight if there's no thundershowers.

When did you pick up the talon? you keepin both of them on the lake?

you guy's know whrer I can get a good map of the lakes and locks??? i wasa up there last year and it's was great want to spend more time there this year but just getting the boat together ( 2 months late) but with some lck I can get there 4 or 5 times this year and may look into buying a place.... Naples area so I can get ther on 302

jhutch ,Got the Talon last August, only used it a few times, looking forward to it this year. They will both be on the lake. Where do you keep your Fountain?

Never put it in, got home and couldn't unlodge the thumb...maybe in the next few days.

I'm on the Songo river, just in from the mouth of Brandy Pond. I'll be out all weekend if the weather hold up!

Any chance any of you guys have a set of 14.5 X 32's I could try on my O/B's??
I don't want to drop the $$$ if I cann't spin'm I have 30's on it now and didn't have any problem with spinning them but I'd like to keep the Rpm down and save the motors a bit

We are out mostly during the week. Too many weekend warriors. I've been on hot boat tring to get a raft up going either on Sebago or Long Lake. Nobody from up here seems to be on. Hey Hottrucks, is it true you need a license for NH now.

Most summers I'm in South Casco, next to Migis Lodge (Dingley Island area). This summer will be a bust - I'm overseas until November.

Has anybody heard of any decibel testing on the lake yet? I know they are on Brandy Pond and Long Lake but have not heard of any on Sebago yet.

What is the reg's in Maine for DB tests????

Here in NH it's 87 at 50 feet at WOT there is also a dock test but I have never heard of it being used??? I have been tested enough to know !!!!!!!!!!! but I can make ANYTHING pass

Was a noise law passed? IF so every boat that takes off out of the basin in front of my house is F-ed. including myself. The guy next door owns Mainley Marine I'll ask him what he knows

There IS a law on the books, 90db, but I have not heard of any enforcement...yet

we chose to sit at the end of the dock and watch the boats head into Richardsons and the basin. there were a few more cats this year then last.

your right the run is this weekend, I have never seen cats on the lake not to mention multiple cats unless it wa the run. Talked to Phill at panther run today and he confermed this weekend.

ya got stopped in the river last year below the locks 1st thing he said is your too loud i said WHAT anyways he did a db test @ idle behind the boat both engines running he recorded a db of 107 I believe it was an average of three readings cost me 135$ twin540's straight 3.5 in pipes nat.asper. 33 sutphen dyno @ 640hp ea.kamma surface drives low exhaust exit on transom lets say it echos jay "ICE SCREAM" :evilb: and to top it off I was idling on one engine when he stopped us ask biggus he knows all too well !

Breathless got bagged and had to change. They been testing for awhile now but they only have one warden certified. See you at the run. If you see us rafted shoot over and say hi. I'll be the only scarab out there tied up to a 25' trophy. Trying to get him to pony up to a fountain center console.

Taking family vacation to Lake Sebago end of July first week in August, can I get a boat ride from someone....the faster the better ........so I can get away from the wife:D
