It was Sat night. The boat was a 14' open. The type of boat not usually running any lights. Two were thrown from the speed boat and it went into the woods. The two swam to shore. They're not releasing anything yet, but the same old crap that offshore boats shouldn't be on the lakes. We'll see what comes about.

I find it interesting that when I read the news article on WGME.COM two days ago they stated that the small boat had no lights, and they where out watching a meteor shower. Now the article says nothing about no lights....

Yeh, interesting. They still haven't released names that I'm aware of.

The 2 people that are reported missing is a girl that tends bar at Bray's Pub (Suzanne) and the other is a guy that i knew from the Marina named Ray, He had a 17' boat, And he did not have any lights as a few people saw him going under the bridge from Brandy Pond to Long Lake to go watch the Meteor Shower.

heard it was the yellow scarab frome naples marina. "no patience" or "lack of patience" on the side in blue letters. buddy keeps his boat there and went over to the scene and saw the boat.

Who sits in a black boat after dark with no lights on? and if the boat was moving at 90+ like the news is suggesting they could not be heard coming? If it was that boat, who has heard of a mid 80's 90+MPH SCARAB? maybe 60+)

I heard it was a Sunsation. I talked to a friend today who is on vacation up there and said his boat was also missing from his slip. Hearing lots of rumors though. Tragic accident.
