I'm looking at a boat with a HP500 in it that was rebuilt by Simonek in New Jersey. The owner said Andy Loundsberry built the motor. Has anyone had experience with these guys. The owner says it's been rebuilt to 540 CI with 675 HP. They put a Motec fuel injection system in it. It has 70 hours on it. Any info would be appreciated.

i looked at a checkmate with a big block that was done by simonek, it was at typhoon performance, they swore by them, but i have no personal experience with them, i tried to start a similar thread with no avail..... good luck

I had ronnie at simonek built me a 509 blower motor with merlin heads, manely H-beam connecting rods, the motor ran great no problems i will use him again when its time to rebuild my HP500s next winter.

Check with JoeD, I think he had them do some work for him a while back.....
